GUN TRANSFERS

Inbound to Young Guns

Firearms are ONLY accepted from dealers, manufacturers or importers NOT from an unlicensed individual (this is our store policy). The cost of a transfer is $30.00 per gun.

Once you have selected the gun you wish to acquire please call us with the fax number of the other dealer and the type of firearm. If we receive a gun with NO information beforehand then the fee is $40.00

A pistol permit/NC concealed carry permit is required for handguns and a background check/NC concealed carry permit for long guns. You must pay for the gun and shipping (COD shipments will be refused).

Once the gun arrives you will be contacted to retrieve it. There is no warranty on transferred guns. If you have a problem with it that is between you and the dealer you got it from.

In the event of a wrong/unsatisfactory firearm we will ship it back for you for the cost of shipping (see outbound transfers) without charging a second transfer fee.

Outbound from Young Guns

Firearms will ONLY be sent to dealers, manufacturers or importers NOT to an unlicensed individual. Once you know where to send the gun have that dealer fax us a copy of their FFL signed in ink. We must have this on file before we will ship the gun.

The cost of a transfer is $30.00 per gun. In addition you must pay the shipping fee of $15.00 per gun and insurance (50 cents per $100.00 of value, if desired). If you elect NOT to insure the gun we will ship it at your own risk and will not be responsible for damage, loss or theft while in transit.

If requested a UPS tracking number or USPS delivery confirmation can be provided to you. Remember you can ship a gun to any licensed dealer, manufacturer or importer for repairs, warranty, replacement or custom work. However, if you intend to transfer ownership to another party you must go through a dealer.
